State Employee Data

Welcome to the state employee data page. State employee pay and personnel information is provided in the datasets. The data is stored within the state's Open Data Portal allowing easier use and access. The portal offers tools for accessing, searching and interacting with datasets.

As you browse through the data, you will be able to view pay information about the staff of the State of Illinois. You will be able to view gross pay rates for the most-recent payroll cycle and total payments made by calendar year-to-date. Gross pay rates include all payments to employees; it is not base salary. Personnel information, such as county of employment, employment status, and position status, will also be available.
